We are currently looking for individuals interested in joining the production team at our Miami, Florida facility. Your specific job as an operator will be determined by the daily needs at the plant, and scheduling.
- Duties will primary consist of unpacking fresh/frozen fish fillets, hand curing them, operating food processing equipment, assessing product quality, assisting in the packing of the finished product, and cleaning.
- This is a full-time position, hours may vary from Monday - Friday, 7AM–5PM with some Saturdays and overtime available.
- Familiarity with food processing industry is a plus.
- Must be punctual, quality minded and self motivated.
- Salary is $13.50 / hour.
- Benefits include 5 paid federal holidays (Memorial Day. Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day), and 5 days paid vacation after completing 1 year of employment.
- Must be able to work in a cold and wet refrigerated environment for 8 hours a day.
- Some of the duties are physically strenuous.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
UK Based Jobs
We have an opportunity for experienced and non experienced Process Workers to join our team at St. James Smokehouse (Scotland) Ltd.
- Preparing smoked salmon Packs on a process line.
- Operating Vacuum Packing Machines.
- Packing By-Products
- Other Processing Duties As Necessary.
- We are looking for reliable candidates to start full-time immediately on the following shift pattern: Monday - Thursday: 12.30pm - 10.00pm, Friday: 12.30pm - 4.30pm. Overtime is required when necessary.
- Experience is beneficial but full training will be given to the successful candidates.
- Industrial Food & Beverage Production Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
- Salary from £9.50 per hour
- Must be able to work in a cold and wet refrigerated environment for 8 hours a day.
- COVID-19 considerations: All government guidelines are being adhered to and PPE will be provided.
